NUECES COUNTY - For the first time in a decade, more Democrats voted early than Republicans in the Nueces County primaries.
Data out of the Nueces County Elections office shows 6,755 Democrats cast early ballots, compared to 5,487 Republicans.
Democrats last outnumbered Republicans in 2008, when a whopping 22,684 Democrats voted early during the primaries, compared to just over 5,000 Republicans.
In all, 12,242 voters got to the polls early, this primary season. That's a little more than 6 percent of all registered voters in the county.
Election Day is tomorrow. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
