As work continues on the Harbor Bridge Project, upcoming closures will affect routes within the work zone.
According to project coordinators, closures will take place on the western end of the project work zone and will not affect traffic on the Harbor Bridge.
Coordinators say all work is weather permitting. A detailed listing of closures is included below.
Beginning February 12 and running through February 16, the northbound and southbound right lanes of IH 37 will be closed at Nueces Bay Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
From February 12 and through February 23, the southbound entrance ramp from Leopard Street, along with the auxiliary lane of the Crosstown Expressway will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
From February 15 through February 21, the eastbound right lane of Leopard Street will be closed at Crosstown Expressway from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
From February 19 through June 1, various daily and nightly shoulder and lane closures on IH 37 will be taking place between Nueces Bay Boulevard and the Crosstown Expressway.
Project coordinators are urging motorists to be aware of the lane closures, to consider using alternate routes, to follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones.
