More victims have come forward with accusations of sexual assault against a man currently in custody in Nueces County Jail.

According to Corpus Christi Police, there are now 12 girls, ages 12 to 16, that have made allegations against Mathew Joseph Lucio.

Police say the sexual assaults are reported to have occurred between 2007 and 2017.

Lucio was booked into the Nueces County Jail on December 27, 2017 on charges of sexual assault of a child and aggravated sexual assault. Police say several additional counts have been added, and Lucio’s bond has increased from $500,000 to $1.9 million.

According to police, Lucio was identifying himself as Kane Luciano on at least one of his social media accounts.

CCPD says the investigation is ongoing and there exists the possibility of witnesses or other victims that have not yet come forward.

Anyone with information concerning this case is encouraged to call the lead investigator, Senior Officer Alicia Escobar at 826-2996.
