CORPUS CHRISTI -

Perhaps you have heard the phrase, "a face only a mother could love." We think our Corpus Christi Animal Care Services Pet of the Week has a face anyone could love, and are hoping that it will help him find a home in short order.

Luke is a very cute, energetic 1-year-old Chihuahua mix with what appears to be a touch of Doberman Pinscher! He has been neutered and is up-to-date on all of his shots. That means for a $25 adoption fee, Luke is ready today to go to a new home where he will be well-cared for and treated as a family member.

To learn how to adopt any of the animals at the 2626 Holly Road facility, just drop by any Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:30 PM. You are welcome to bring your children or any current pets you have, in order to spend time with any animal you may be thinking of adopting. Then, if you happen to connect with a pet you would like to take home, simply fill out an application.

Please note that the the facility will NOT be open on Thursday, January 25th for facility maintenance and staff training.

It is also worth noting the CCACS is always looking for additional volunteers to help with a variety of jobs that are currently available.
