Police release sketch of suspect in jogger assault case

Investigators have released a sketch of a suspect wanted in connection to the assault of a female jogger on Corpus Christi's southside.

As we've reported, Corpus Christi Police Department began an investigation after reports that a female jogger was assaulted in the early morning hours on January 5. The incident reportedly took place in the 6000 block of Dunbarton Oak Drive.

On Thursday, CCPD released a composite sketch of the suspect, described as a white male between age 30 and 40, around 5'9" to 5'11" tall and weighing around 160 pounds. The suspect was described as having pronounced cheekbones or sunken cheeks with brown eyes and short brown hair, slightly unshaven, with pronounced ears. He was said to be wearing an olive military green hoodie jacket and dark pants at the time of the assault.
