A tip led Corpus Christi Police to the discovery of a homeless camp inside an abandoned church.
Inside the former church in the 600 block of Furman Avenue, police found what they described as an elaborate living set up, where homeless people had set up a dining room, sleeping area and even a place to relax and lounge around.
Seven people were found inside the building this morning, but police say they believe more may have been calling it home.
Two of the people found inside were arrested for outstanding warrants.
A contractor will be brought out to secure the building.
