One person was sent to the hospital after a roll-over accident on Saratoga Boulevard.
According to Corpus Christi Police, a 52-year-old man, driving near Saratoga and Calle Cuernavaca, veered to the side of the road due to a medical issue. He hit a guard rail which sent his car airborne and rolling down the embankment.
CCPD says the man was wearing his seatbelt and the car landed upright on the wheels.
According to CCPD Senior Officer Carl Knapick the man had low blood sugar and was taken to Spohn Shoreline hospital, but appeared to be okay.
Corpus Christi police urge drivers to be aware of any medical issues that may impair abilities to operate a vehicle.
