Three people hospitalized after North-side shooting

Posted: Updated:

Corpus Christi police say three men were struck by gunfire after a shooting on the city's northside.

The shooting happened just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night in the 2100 block of Longview West Street close to Driscoll Middle School.

According to Corpus Christ Police Captain Jason Brady, police were initially called out for a disturbance with a weapon, and when officers arrived, they found three men with gunshot wounds.

Police say the shooting is still in the early parts of the investigation because they couldn't interview the victims because they needed medical attention.

"Our primary goal is to get the victims medical attention before we commence the interview," Capt. Brady said.

Police did not say the condition of the victims Tuesday evening.

Investigators gathered evidence at the scene and talked to witnesses at the home.
