Posted: Updated:

A man was hospitalized after his house caught on fire late Monday night.

The fire happened right around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Western and W. Ave. B.

Firefighters told KRIS 6 News it took about 90-minutes to get control of the fire because of the way the inside of the home was set up.

The extent of the man's injuries are unknown at this time.

The state fire marshal will be called in to help determine a cause of the fire.
