Suspect escapes after firing gun during disturbance at apartment complex

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI -

Police are looking for a man who allegedly fired a gun into the air after an argument at a Corpus Christi apartment complex.

Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) officers converged at Woodbury Place Apartments near Staples St. and Everhart Rd. just before 4:30p.m. Saturday afternoon.

There, police said a suspect got into a disturbance inside the complex. Afterwards, he reportedly pulled out a gun and fired it into the air before fleeing the scene on foot.

CCPD called in additional units to the area to search for the suspect but investigators believe he managed to leave the area undetected.

This is a developing story, we will provide updates online as soon as we're able.
