Two people were injured during the home invasion, according to officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department. A 32-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and a 47-year-old man suffered a head injury, but officers could not confirm if the man had been shot. Both were taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

The suspects escaped in a dark colored four-door Ford F-150 pickup, police didn't have an exact color or a license plate.

Investigators are interviewing other people who were in the home at the time of the home invasion to try and get a better description of the suspects.
