City to begin storm debris collection in Area 6

Another round of Hurricane Harvey debris collection begins on Monday.

Crews from the city will start picking up debris from Area 6, which includes areas from South Staples Street to South Padre Island Drive between Ayers Street and Kostoryz Road, as well as SPID to south of Oso Creek to the city limits, between Ayers and Weber Road.

Residents must have their debris set out by 7 a.m. Monday, December 11.

Debris piles do not need to be separated. All hurricane debris will be collected including tree limbs, brush, leaves and fencing. No tires or loose concrete will be collected.
