On this day in 1933, national Prohibition came to an end as Utah became the 36th state to ratify the 21st Amendment to the Constitution, repealing the 18th Amendment.

To celebrate the anniversary of the end of prohibition, one local restaurant is throwing a party.

The 'Party Like It's 1933 and Celebrate the End of Prohibition Bash' is happening all day at Bubba's 33 at 1921 South Padre Island Drive.

The restaurant is offering $3.33 classic cheeseburgers and single bacon burgers and $.33 boneless and bone-in wings.

And as a celebration of the end of prohibition, $3.33 drinks will be served.

Bubba's 33 will also have a giveaway every hour at 33 minutes past the hour.

The party starts at 4 p.m. and runs until midnight.
