Missing three-year-old North Carolina girl believed to be dead

NORTH CAROLINA -

North Carolina investigators believe a three-year-old girl, who went missing last week, is dead.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office posted on social media early Saturday morning that they have arrested 32-year-old Earl Kimrey for the disappearance and possible death of 3-year-old Mariah Woods.

Investigators posted, "Due to evidence gathered during the course of the investigation, it is believed that Mariah is deceased. At this time, the location of Mariah is unknown. The searches will now shift to a recovery process."

Kimrey is charged with concealing of death, obstruction of justice, burglary, theft, and possessing stolen property. Possession of Stolen Property

Kimrey is currently being held in jail on a $1,010,000 bond. 

District Attorneys say he could face additional charges as the investigation continues.
