SAN ANTONIO -

UPDATE:  Police have found 3-year-old Josue Gonzalez safe in La Grange, TX.

The San Antonio police department has issued an "Amber Alert" for missing 3-year-old boy.

According to WOAI, the child's mother drove to pick up her boyfriend from a west side cellphone store and had left her son sleeping in the car.

Whey they returned, police say her vehicle was gone with her child sleeping inside.

The vehicle is a 1998 forest green Mustang convertible. The window in the back is broken.

The license plate on the vehicle is D-D-2-P-6-7-6.

The child was last seen wearing a pink/red shirt with gray collars, cut off jean shorts, and blue and brown Sperry shoes.

Police officers ask if you see the vehicle or the missing boy, to call your local police agency immediately.

Law enforcement officials believe this child is in grave or immediate danger.
