A Navy aircraft that caught fire has landed safely at the Corpus Christi International Airport.
According to airport officials, a Navy 737 was in the area conducting training, when, crews heard loud noises and noticed flames coming from the aircraft's left engine.
The flight crew was able to land the plane safely at CCIA. No one onboard was injured during the incident.
The plane, which was carrying 6,000 pounds of fuel at take off, taxied to a nearby runway where investigators will try to determine what caused the incident.
Airport crews have swept the runway for debris and it has returned to normal operation.
