The City of Corpus Christi is planning on getting the Watergarden up and running soon.
According to the City of Corpus Christi's Parks and Recreation Director Jay Ellington, the city shut down the fountains before Hurricane Harvey hit two weeks ago. During the storm, some water gathered below the ground pump area. So, crews have drained the Watergarden.
Now, the city plans to inspect the tourist attraction's electrical system before turning the fountains back on.
Some businesses are now cracking down on their regulations, because blurred lines between federal and state standards are causing confusion regarding the difference between a service animal and an emotional support animal.
