CORPUS CHRISTI -

Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department are searching for a man who took his truck from a local tow yard overnight without paying.

The man recently had his F-150 towed and showed up at Lone Star Wrecker Service on the 4900 block of Up River Road during the businesses off-hours, according to officers.

Officers say when caught, the man will face charges of theft of services.

As to how the man got into the tow yard after hours, workers at the wrecker service tell us that even though their official hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, if someone calls ahead and wants to pick up their towed vehicle, they have an hour to do so after making that call.
