Walmart sending mobile pharmacies to Texas Coast

The Walmart Emergency Operations Center is providing continuous updates on Walmart and Sam's Club closures on Twitter @WalmartNewsroom. 
 
21 Walmart stores and 9 Sam's Club locations along the Texas Gulf Coast and surrounding area are currently closed.

Closures are due to power outages, road closures and mandatory evacuations from local and state authorities.

Walmart is closely monitoring the storm and will reopen as quickly and safely as possible, and their closure list is  updated every few minutes on Twitter @WalmartNewsroom. 
  
Walmart logistics, transportation and operations teams are working to get emergency items on the shelves as quickly as possible for customers, while maintaining the safety of their drivers.

Within the past 24 hours, Walmart has shipped 265 truckloads of water and another 38 truckloads of emergency supplies to stores throughout South Texas.
 
Walmart is sending mobile pharmacies to Rockport, Portland and Aransas Pass, and will provide exact status and locations when available.
 
Walmart and the Walmart Foundation have announced a disaster relief donation of at least $1 million to organizations helping in response to Hurricane Harvey.
