Homeowner puts out fire before firefighters arrive

Posted: Updated:

An Annaville homeowner puts out a fire before firefighters arrived.

The fire broke out near a shed around 11:40 am Saturday morning in the 10700 Block of Stonewall Boulevard off of Mckinzie Road.

According to investigators, a homeowner was cutting grass, and somehow a gas can next to a shed caught fire.

Investigators added that the small shed was only damaged because the owner put out the blaze before Annaville and Corpus Christi firefighters arrived.

Luckily, there were no injuries.
