CORPUS CHRISTI -

The name of a woman who was killed in a hit-and-run incident last night is released.

According to the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office, 32-year-old Sara Jean Pena died Sunday evening after being hit by a gray truck.

The accident happened on the 5400 block of Leopard just before 11:00 pm. Investigators tell us that the driver that hit the person did not stay at the scene.

Meanwhile, investigators say they have identified a suspect in the fatal hit-and-run incident, but he's not going to be charged. They say that will be up to the grand jury to decide.

Police say they were able to get surveillance pictures of a truck taking off from the scene of the accident. Police were able to track down that vehicle to a motel parking lot not far from the crash scene.
