Spring break is one of the busiest times of year for businesses in Port Aransas and it was no different this time around.
Things are back to normal at The Islander and Spanky's liquor, but that wasn't the case last week.
Employees told KRIS 6 News business really picked up around Wednesday because of the improved weather. Spring break got off to a slow start with the rain, but employees are glad it didn't stop customers from going into their business.
"It was an excellent week, said Pam Luebke from The Islander. "We appreciate everybody coming down especially with the bad weather, we didn't know what we were going to get, but it turned out okay.
