Ingleside could be one step closer to becoming the 42nd city in Texas to ban smoking its bars and restaurant.
Ingleside city council members will vote on whether they will move forward with a proposal by the students against destructive decisions to prevent damage caused by secondhand smoke.
The proposal would ban smoking in its bar and restaurant outside of designated smoking areas.
There would be exceptions to the ban such as; establishments where fifty percent of its sales can be attributed to alcoholic beverages and separate bar areas of restaurants.
