    Heavy downpours are expected to move on shore today. Look for significant rain to affect the Coastal Bend for the next few days. Because of our drought conditions we don't expect significant flooding, however by the end of the week we expected to be saturated with flooding becoming possible.     We finally picked up a few hundredths of an inch of rain this morning out at Corpus Christi International Airport.  Six-hundredths to be exact.  Obviously not much, but a sure sign that our dry and sunny weather pattern is beginning to crumble. Upper-level high pressure has move into the eastern United States and has allowed a tropical wave in the Gulf of Mexico to slowly push westward the last several days.        We are starting to see some increasing moisture from a tropical wave in the Gulf of Mexico. This will lead to more widespread rain showers this afternoon and the next several days.
