Hinojosa's attorney even presented the judge with a letter from Hinojosa's pastor stating Hinojosa and his wife attend church every Sunday.

The 52 year old has been working at a Used Car lot and said he needed to get off of probation so that he would find a better job. He stated corporate rules won't allow larger dealerships to hire him because he's on probation. Hinojosa said "I've lost so much money that I owe it to my family. I owe it to my wife to do the best that I can for us. So, I'm on fast track, I think. I'm doing my best and I guarantee you I will never be back in this court again if I'm early terminated."

In the end, Judge Bobby Galvan denied Hinojosa's request. By the way, Hinojosa also asked a San Patricio County judge to release him from probation but that judge too denied his request.
