The city council will make adjustments to the rule. We will be staying at stage 2 restrictions.
CORPUS CHRISTI -
A new drought contingency plan is now in effect in Corpus Christi.
City leaders gave the final approval Tuesday to continue stage 2 water restrictions until we hit a 90% combined capacity in our water reservoirs. One of the main features of stage two restrictions is limited watering, you can only water once a week if you use sprinklers. Watering day will be the same as your garbage pickup day.
Corpus Christi has been under stage two restrictions since July of last year when combined lake levels dipped below 40% capacity.
