Solar-powered table keeps Islanders charged for the day

New technology at Texas A&M Corpus Christi in the form of a table that's meant for more than just eating! Students can now charge their electrical devices using a solar powered dock station.

The table is made of all recycled materials and has a battery pack that can provide power for up to a week. The idea came from students and staff at the school.

With four solar panels for recharging, four plug outlets, and four USB ports, the covered table with get a lot of use.
