NEW YORK - Ray Diver Zoe Alaniz has won the 2012 High School Heisman Award. Zoe is the first student athlete from our area to win this prestigious award.
Ray High School will now receiver a $10,000 donation in her name. The Wendy's High School Heisman student and school recognition program is committed to helping every student in your school achieve his or her personal best. All students can take advantage of the resources on this site to plan for their academic, athletic, and community involvement including potential scholarships. So spread the word and help your students continue their winning ways after high school and beyond.
Over 45,000 student athletes applied for this award. Zoe first won the Texas Division, then was nominated as a National Finalist, and then won the Female Award. Since the inception of the award over 415,000 athletes have been nominated for the award.
