YWCA Honors Women Making an Impact In Our Community

CORPUS CHRISTI - The YWCA is recognizing women who make significant impacts in their career field through the Y Women In Careers Award. This year's honorees will be recognized at the 33rd Y Women In Careers Awards Banquet Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the YWCA, 4601 Corona.
The YWCA has honored 237 exceptional women in the Coastal Bend who stand out in their career field through the Y Women In Careers Award. This is a professional award that recognizes accomplishments made in the honoree's career field.

YWCA President & CEO Nancy Wesson-Dodd said, "These women are very deserving of recognition and serve as role models, especially for young girls. Through such admirable examples, the girls see that the world is open for them to pursue their own dreams!"
Seats are $80. The YWCA is hoping to gain sponsorships for 5th & 6th grade girls in the community to attend. Reservations and sponsorships are available can be made here.
