CORPUS CHRISTI - A reminder to be wary of people using social media sites to offer items for sale at a "too good to be true" price.
Corpus Christi police took a report from two women very early Sunday morning who reported they were robbed by a guy who approached them via Facebook about selling a video game.
The women in their 20's met the suspect at a home on Dorado Street around 2 a.m. He didn't hand over a video game, instead he pulled out a gun and ordered them to hand over their cash.
Once the man had the cash, the women left the area unharmed with a one year old child who was in the car with them.
The suspect went by the name of ‘Manny.' He's described as a Hispanic male, 18-19 years old, 5'8", weighing more than 200 pounds.
