CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are looking for a woman who tried to pay with funny money at a local convenience store Thursday.
It happened around 11:40 a.m. at the Times Market on Baldwin near Cloyde St.
Police say a Hispanic female between 20 to 30 years of age, with a cast over her left arm, tried to pay for merchandise with fake $10 and $20 bills.
Officers say the clerk told them it was obvious the money was fake and he told the woman to pay up with real money or he'd call the cops.
The woman chose to take off without the stuff she was trying to buy.
