Woman Killed In One Car Accident In Aransas Pass

ARANSAS PASS -- Aransas Pass police are investigating a fatal accident.

Friends and family identified the victim as 31-year old Jessica Denney Brown.

Police say Brown -- a passenger -- died Friday afternoon after being thrown from the car.

It happened at the Highway 35 Bypass and 1069 Southbound.

Investigators say Brown wasn't wearing her seat belt.

Officers say the man driving the car was trying to help Brown when they arrived to the accident, but she died at the scene.

The male driver went to the hospital for minor injuries.

The Aransas Pass Police Department and Texas Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
