Woman in Serious Condition after Car Crash

Woman Trapped in Overnight Crash on Crosstown

CORPUS CHRISTI -- A late night car accident sent one woman to the hospital with serious injuries. The crash happened just before 11 p.m. Wednesday night on the northbound Crosstown Expressway over Gollihar.

Police say the woman crashed into the side barrier, getting trapped. Fire crews had to rescue her from the truck. Emergency crews took her to Memorial Hospital and she is currently in serious condition.

Police say they believe alcohol may be a factor in the crash, but they're still investigating.
