Woman Hits Two Teens With Car

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police say a 73-year old woman got a ticket for hitting two teens with her car Thursday night.

The girls ages 14 and 17 were crossing Laredo Street when a car turning from Staples Street hit them.

Both girls were treated for minors injuries.

Police say the 14-year old girl is a runaway from San Antonio, and at last report is being held at the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center.

Officers say the driver got a ticket for not yielding the right of way to pedestrians.
