Woman Hit and Killed in Calallen

CORPUS CHRISTI - A 32 year old woman has been killed after being hit by a truck in Calallen. According to the Nueces County Sheriff's Department, the woman was walking down 5700 block County Road 73 around 1-30 this afternoon when she was hit by a white pickup truck. The 55 year old man driving that truck has been taken into custody. There's no word yet on what led to the accident.
