CORPUS CHRISTI - A woman facing multiple charges, including a capital murder charge, is expected to be arraigned later today.
Police say Laura Day allowed her stepson, Taylor Syring, to swim without a life jacket near Bob Hall Pier in October of 2012.
Day found Syring laying face down in the water. She drove him to a local hospital instead of calling 911. Police say Syring drowned.
Day also faces child endangerment and injury to a child charges.
