The Evolution of Island Boats, presented by Rick Pratt
PORT ARANSAS - Museum Director Rick Pratt will talk about how the design of our local boats reflects the conditions they are used in and the materials used in their construction, and how they have changed over the years.
Each lecture begins with a social in the Museum with wine, cheese and fruit. The public is encouraged to browse the Museum and shop in the Gift Shop when we open the doors at 7p.m.
At 7:30 pm, everyone moves next door to the Community Center for the lectures.
Learn more about Port Aransas by attending our evening lecture series this winter. Topics range from a look at the history of the town through postcards to our role during the market hunting days of waterfowl.
