CORPUS CHRISTI- It was mostly cloudy windy warm and humid today with only a few stray showers mainly to our south. The winds that gusted over 40 mph today will decrease tomorrow and gradually over the next several days. This will result in slightly lower lows and higher hotter afternoon highs.
Speaking of wind, hurricane "Barbara" is making landfall tonight over southeastern Mexico and into the extreme southwestern Gulf of Mexico as a remnant low on Thursday. The system is expected to dissipate by the end of this week and is NOT a threat to interests along the Texas coast. (See graphic/picture)
Tonight will be warm windy and stuffy with a low near 80.
Tomorrow and Friday we will have less wind but still brezzy humid and hotter with a high of 94 tomorrow and 93 on Friday.
