CORPUS CHRISTI - It was a beautiful day over the Coastal Bend this afternoon as a few clouds moved into the area and provided a mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures reaching the upper 70s with fairly light winds.
Tonight, expect the clouds to stick around for most of us as temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 50s with some fog possible. Winds will take a turn to the northeast early in the morning as a very weak frontal boundary will move through South Texas. This will almost have no effect on our weather as the winds will rebound back to the south-southeast around the midday time frame.
Sunday will be a day similar to today with a mix of clouds and sun with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. The winds will be a tad breezier, especially along the coastline, but should stay within range of 15-20mph.
Clouds will begin to thicken up by early next week as a couple of systems move towards the area from the west and increase rain chances slightly by Tuesday and Wednesday. At this point, it does not look like a big rain maker for us, however, we will keep an eye on it as the clouds and possibility for light drizzle could continue for the rest of the week and possibly beyond.
Have a great weekend!
