SAN ANTONIO (WOAI) - A three-alarm fire burned 16 units in a San Antonio, Texas apartment complex Monday evening.

Firefighters worked for more than an hour to contain the fire, which quickly spread from unit to unit.

Residents who stood to watch the fire from the apartment complex's parking lots had to be moved farther back for safety.

"I'm just in shock," said Jennifer Mendez, who lives at Wood Hollow. "Everything's in there."
