CORPUS CHRISTI- Deepening low pressure and a trailing pacific cold front in the central Plaines states will continue to track slowly eastward. Expect rather windy and very warm conditions ahead of this system thru Wednesday. Scattered to numerous showers and thundershowers will develop over the Coastal Bend as the weak cold front approaches. Some of the rain could be heavy but will come to and end as the front passes the city around sunset just in time for most trick or treaters. Much cooler air will lag hundreds of miles behind the front and will not arrive until late Friday night or early Saturday.
Wednesday will be windy humid and unusually warm with a high of 89 and a mix of clouds and sunshine.
Wednesday night will be cloudy breezy humid and unseasonably warm with a low of 78.
Halloween day (Thursday) expect lots of clouds with scattered thundershowers that become numerous near the front Thursday afternoon and a high of 86.
Halloween night the rain will end area wide and it will feel cooler with rain cooled air dropping temperatures into the low 70's.
Temperatures will drop into the low to mid 50's on Sunday morning!!
