Wild Chase Ends With Truck in Barbed Wire

Corpus Christi-- Corpus Christi police officers and Border Patrol agents were involved in a chase last night.

Police responded to reports of an early 2000's model Dodge Dakota swerving though traffic on north bound I-37.

A police officer followed the truck, and tried to pull it over near Labonte Park.

Police chased the truck for about three miles before it exited off of the highway and went through a barbed wire fence.

The driver and its four passengers got out and started ran.

Authorities have not confirmed they caught the people in the truck, or if they are still searching for them.

The truck was registered out of McAllen, Texas.
