CORPUS CHRISTI - Even though Eric Dimick has just been sentenced to 60 years behind bars for aggravated kidnapping, his case isn't closed yet.
There was a mistrial called on the aggravated sexual assault charge because the jury couldn't make a decision.
Dimick serving time behind bars for kidnapping an 11-year old girl on Braesvalley Drive in December of 2012.
In the next few weeks the District Attorney's office will have a meeting to decide if they will re-try the aggravated sexual assault charge. We're told a major part of that decision making is getting the victim's family's input. To see if they even want to put their family through another trial.
