Wetter Weekend But Not A Washout

CORPUS CHRISTI- Tropical moisture will continue to increase across south Texas with a rich tropical flow off the gulf. Tropical depression #8 now inland over Mexico and the broad circulation around it will continue to enhance atmospheric moisture thru the weekend and most if not all of next week. The bottom line is our weather pattern is wetter and September will lie up to its expectations of being on average the wettest month of the year.

A quiet night in the Coastal Bend with fair skies light winds and a low of 76. Scattered showers will develop along the coast after midnight and move slowly inland.

Saturday and Sunday expect considerable cloudiness mixed with some sunshine in and around scattered to at times numerous thundershowers not much wind (except near the heavier activity) only seasonally hot but very humid with a high Saturday of 93 and 94 Sunday.

For this time of year the tropics are very quiet.

Enjoy the weekend.
