CORPUS CHRISTI - Police need your help catching a sharp dressed man who is scamming people out of money. Several victims have told Corpus Christi police that a hispanic man, who identifies himself as a pharmaceutical representative, asks to borrow $25-40 so he can pay for his vehicle to be towed.
.
The suspect promises to pay the cash back, providing his victim with a phone number so they can reach him in the future. Of course, he takes the cash and the victims never hear from him again.
Police describe the man as hispanic, 33-42 years of age, 5'7"-5'11" tall, weighing about 170 lbs.
Authorities recommend that if you are approached by this scam artist call police at 361-886-2600.
