ROBSTOWN - Today the welding class from A.C. Jones High School in Beeville are taking part in a competition at the Nueces Co. Junior Livestock Show renamed in honor of their instructor who recently died from a stroke.
Mike Mylnar made a huge impact on his students and the community.
His students are wearing shirts in his honor that have the saying, "We came in as 'boys' and left as MEN."
They all say he was the type of man they all hope to be like.
Mylnar worked for several years with Flint Hills Resources before becoming an instructor at A.C. Jones High School.
