CORPUS CHRISTI- We will have warmer weather this weekend ahead of the next rather strong cold front that will arrive on Christmas Day. Unfortunately only a few brief isolated showers (near the coast) can be expected but windy again and colder temperatures will return to the area lasting most if not all of next week behind the front. As warm air returns and the storm track shifts south we will have a better opportunity for badly needed rain around the first of the year.

Today expect some sunshine mixed with a lot of clouds breezier and much milder with a high of 72.

Tonight will be breezy cloudy and warmer as well with a high low of 61.

Sunday we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine and noticeably warmer with a high near 80.

Christmas day will be warm early with a few showers then windy and turning by late afternoon and evening but not before we have a high of 78 then temperatures plummet into the 30's (with wind chill) Christmas night and on into Wednesday.

Happy Holidays everyone!
