CORPUS CHRISTI - A spokesperson for the Corpus Christi Police Department says wedding planner Justin Lee Olle was arrested in Amherst, New York and is awaiting extradition to Nueces County.
Lee is wanted for allegedly writing $8,400 in hot checks to POETS Restaurant for catering.
He's better known by the name of his now closed business 'Justin Lee Designs.' Investigators say 39 customers have come forward with complaints against Olle, claiming they paid him thousands of dollars for events that did not go as planned or never happened.
Lee told us back in May he would have refunds for all his customers within 24 hours, but customers never heard from him again.
The warrant for his arrest on a felony theft charge was just issued yesterday.
Police in New York tell us they were able to track Olle down to his job at a carpet business. Management there let officers know where he was staying.
