CORPUS CHRISTI- A marginally unstable atmosphere and tropical moisture combination will yield only isolated showers over the weekend starting on the coast in the morning and working inland during the afternoon (both days.) Winds will continue to be much lighter than normal (especially at night) until the early part of next week. The weather will be excellent for fireworks tonight. Arthur is just east of the New England coast and is expected to stay offshore overnight as it weakens and races off to the northeast.
Tonight will be mainly clear nearly calm and almost cool (for July) with a low of 72 again and a little warmer of course near the water.
Saturday and Sunday expect considerable sunshine in and around only isolated thundershowers still hot and humid with a high Saturday of 94 and 95 on Sunday. There will be a little bit more of a sea breeze on Sunday.
Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend.
