Watching Invest 93-L, Not A Threat At This Time

CORPUS CHRISTI- It will continue to dry out slowly over the next few days and with more sun during the day temperatures will be hotter. The high today was just 89 and we added another .15" of rain. Several other areas had much more. Tropical rainfall could really pick up again next week but is highly dependent on what happens with invest 93-L. I think it develops in the southwest Gulf but goes inland as a tropical storm well south of us and even Brownsville. This would provide more rich tropical moisture for the area next week but keep the larger flooding rains closer to the center of circulation far removed from us. The system bears watching but I don't see it as a threat here at this time.

Tonight showers inland with a few re-developing near the coast late and a low of 76 under fair skies.

Thursday and Friday expect even less rain but still a few isolated showers more sunshine and hotter with a high Thursday of 93 and 95 on Friday.

Stay tuned.
